About the "RACE AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER":
In fall of 2002, the St. Jude Children's Research Hopital in Memphis, Tennessee called on Bubba Bear to sponsor a fundraiser to benefit childhood cancer research. With that call, The "RACE AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER" campaign was developed and Bubba Bear became the official mascot of the program.
Bubba Bear's RACC campaign held the first event to create awareness and raise funds through an affiliation with RACE FANS UNLIMITED and Glanville Motor Sports Inc. at the Nashville Super Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bubba Bear's RACE AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER campaign has contributed over SIX Thousand - FIVE Hundred Dollars to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the research of a cure for childhood catastrophic illnesses.
